Vans Syndicate has collaborated with NYC legend Rodney Smith, co-founder of the influential and infamous Zoo York & Shut Skates crew for their current Syndicate project. During the 90′s Rodney and his pioneering brands gave rise to the careers of many East Coast legends who would go on to follow a trail he blazed over a decade earlier. He is still going strong for over 35 years now, and he remains committed to the ideas and ethics of New York City street-skateboarding that, since day one, he helped define.
