Emerica Signing Wrap Up – Photos: Johnny Martinez
We were incredibly psyched this weekend to have a big bulk of the Emerica team out to sign autographs and put on a demo of epic proportions. Brea, CA hadn’t seen this much action since the last time Tracy Morgan was at the Improv (J/K Tracy Morgan kind of sucked).
Kids lining up to see some legendary Emerica riders. We had some of our own legends in the house as well – James Craig and future Brea legend Austyn Gillette. Austyn doesn’t get the nod quite yet.
Super stoked to have B. Herman in the house.
Jerry Hsu a Gentleman and Scholar of the highest order.
2010 SOTY Award winner Leo Romero. Great to the fans, amazing skater. He knows the deal and is a true professional.
Heavy duo. 2 Generations of Legendary humans. Andrew Reynolds and Ed Templeton.
Another legend of skateboarding who is also a fan of the sport – Ronnie Creager getting some skate memorabilia signed by the Boss and Tempster.
Figgy, Spanky and Neckface showed up too. Good guys all around.
We then headed over to the Brea Skatepark for some free BBQ and Demo. Leo killed it – of course he did.
Our own guys got in on the action. Austyn Gillette ripped it up.
James Craig with a bangin’ Tre Flip
Ed Templeton – Impossible Tail Grab. Timeless. Timeless.
To quote Michael Burnett of Thrasher Magazine – “The Andrew Reynolds frontside flip is a thing of beauty.” Indeed it is. Not every skater gets the distinction of owning a trick. However, some do – Jason Lee with a tre-flip, Ray Barbee with the no-comply, Matt Hensley with his 1-foot variations.

Video on it’s way.
Special Thank you goes out to: the Emerica Team (Riders and everyone who made it happen.) Team BK, Skateboarder Magazine (Jaime Stone, Jaime Owens). And of course everyone that came out to support Liberty Boardshop and the Emerica Team. Good vibes, good times. Thanks everyone. It was a good day.
