This year for christmas my girlfriend’s family were heading up to Colorado for 4 days and I was fortunate enough to go and experience a white xmas. It has been a fun time, lots of gifts exchanged, great food, and well the Lakers vs Cavs set to battle on the 25th. I was pretty hyped for the game cause the Lake show was surging and this could be a good look at this years finals. The family is pretty big so yesterday around 2p.m. grandmas, cousins, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces start to show up. So it’s the 1st quarter and I’m chatting with one of the kids who kinda skates and a lot is going on and I hear him say “Jeff Garcia has your board on TV.” He said it pretty calm so I kinda brush it off, but then he goes ” No I swear someone is holding your board up!” I ask Joe my ladies brother “Hey can we rewind this like Tivo?” and sure enough boom Gorge Lopez is holding my limited edition Lake Show deck up and kinda waving it around. Needless to say I was super hyped and showed everyone in the house, got a few pics and got back to the game. We are in the mountains so you don’t get much for reception for the cell, but sure enough 15 minutes later I get about 15 text about it, so I guess a lot of friends saw it to. The Lakers got the shit end of the calls by the refs and got there asses handed to them but at least millions of people might have seen my board, well maybe not that many but a lot anyway.
